In 2019 we invited Detroit Philanthropy to our Board of Directors meeting to present the donor cycle and the role board members can play in assisting with achieving the organization's fundraising goals. They explained how to find good prospects, ways to engage in fundraising and many tips for success. The Board members walked away with a much greater understanding of the various elements involved in the fundraising process and more prepared to partner with the development staff on upcoming fundraising events and activities. The tools learned in this presentation contributed to a very successful donor cultivation event this fall with many board members' engagement and support.

NFL Alumni Detroit Chapter

Detroit Philanthropy provided great services in planning, coordinating, and procuring sponsors for the NFL Alumni Detroit Chapter Annual Charity Golf Classic.  With their help, we were able to increase donations from previous years, grow our brand, and achieve greater recognition within the charitable community. Detroit Philanthropy was able to lead our President and our Board through the year-end campaign process with both an eye on strategy and efficiency.  By recommending ways to effectively convey our message and by keeping our team focused under a tight deadline, we were able to triple what we raised the previous year.  Those funds allowed us to purchase critical equipment for our research efforts.
