ABOUT COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
In 2020, our dedication to supporting area philanthropists and fundraisers spurred the creation of Community Connections: Detroit Philanthropy’s Educational and Networking Series. Moving into our 4th year, we’ve held nearly 25 events featuring industry experts from area foundations, corporations, and community partners. More importantly, we’ve provided a forum for convening the nonprofit sector so thay they can learn and grown together; all while hearing directly from those who make critical funding decisions.

1 signature event , featuring a keynote speaker, expert panel discussion and nonprofit resources
2 recorded interviews with area funders/philanthropists
1 industry networking event to bring together the nonprofit and philanthropic community to socialize and network
with each other
All events are designed to help those in the nonprofit sector gain valuable insights and connections.
With over 1,000 participants representing more than 500 nonprofits, businesses, and foundations having attended since our inception in 2020, this series is a unique opportunity to connect to those impacting our community.
